SAP’s Accelerated Implementation Program

SAP’s Accelerated Implementation Program comprises five phases. The activities carried out in each of these phases change according to the nature of implementation:

Phase 1: Project Preparation

The team goes through initial planning and preparation of SAP Business One project during the first phase of implementation. Initial planning and preparation involve obtaining clear understanding about client and the sales process from sales team. The implementation team sets up the plan of approach, formulating a detailed budget plan, project schedule, finalize the project organization and initiation of training programs for all members. Normally, the preparation commences by performing kick off meeting. Here the project team and process owners get to know about project charter and objective and their allocated responsibilities in execution of the project.

Phase 2: Business Blueprint

A detailed documentation or Blueprint serves as technical and functional guide during subsequent phases of implementation.

Phase 3: Realization

During Realization phase, SAP Consultants configure all technical requirements and business processes based on the Blueprint prepared in previous phase – called Business Blueprint.

A baseline and final system configuration is done in two steps during this. The baseline system configuration replicate’s organizational structure, daily business transactions and all of master data.

The final configuration confirms that all requirements are being met in SAP system and is done in process-oriented cycles

Phase 4: Final Preparation

The activities in this phase comprise completion of key user and administrator. Here, run of final technical system test is run to ensure if system is ready for go live. Adjustments are made to resolve all open critical issues if they exist, as a part of final system tests. Cut-over activities are finalized at this phase.

Phase 5: Go Live and Support

The purpose of this phase is to enable to transfer to live production environment and to support and progress with the live operations on consistent basis. On the start of production, the system has to be checked and fine-tuned as required to guarantee all facets of business environment get featured in SAP system.

During the support phase, SolidPro SAP Consultant team starts supporting the management organization. Our operational helpdesk helps users of the SAP system to report and get their issues sorted.

Once stabilized, the final phase is handing over the system to the client organization and lead to formal project closure.
